About the Lyons Chamber Players

We are an international ensemble committed to making classical music relevant to today’s audiences. While respecting and valuing individuality, our diversity embodies a model of cooperation and unity.

Inspired by the great chamber ensembles of Europe, the Lyons Chamber Players combines strings, winds and brass. The company’s regular instrumentation varies between two and fourteen instruments. We also provide full symphony orchestras. For variety, singers are often included in performances.

The Lyons Chamber Players is committed to revitalizing classical music traditions for the 21st Century through first-rate performances. We present new arrangements of the classical repertoire, while commissioning new works from rising composers, reaching beyond the concert stage to educate young and old about the chamber music experience and the joys of classical music.
